Please read the following information prior to registering for Mixed Media Madness.

Registration and Payment: All registrations may be made online via the Paypal link or at Kept Creations, LLC, 15 South Ave, Whitman, MA.  If you have any questions, please contact us at keptcreations@gmail.com


Meals: As part of your Registration Fee the following food service is include in the payment:

If you have any food concerns or needs, please contact us at keptcreations@gmail.com.  Dinner on Saturday night, March 22nd is not included in the price of registration.  Snack, other than those noted above are not included in the price of registration.

Hotel Reservations:  All hotel reservations and payments are on your own.  Call the John Carver Inn & Spa and request the Kept Creations rate. 508-746-7100, dial 0 to access in-house reservations.   Kept Creations, LLC has secured a rate of $127 per night, double occupancy.  Based on availability, they will honor this group rate for three days prior and three days after the retreat dates. Our special reserved rate will be held until February 21st.  After February 21st, the current hotel rate will apply. There is an 11.7% tax on the hotel room.  Check in time is 3PM and Check out time is 11AM.  A deposit of one night's room rate plus occupancy tax is required per room to confirm your hotel reservation.  The John Carver Inn & Spa accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

Hotel Cancellation:  Advance deposits are refundable for individual cancelleations received at least 7 days prior to guest arrival date.  Cancellation of a reservation within 7 days of arrival, or failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date will be charged a penalty of one night's room rate plus tax.  An early departure is considered a cancellation.



Cancellations: We know that situations can sometimes arise causing a change to your plans. Kept Creations, LLC and Catherine Scanlon Designs must maintain a number of paying guests and therefore we need to enforce the following cancellation procedure.

• Cancel before December 15th, 2013, receive a refund of monies paid.  If you paid via credit card, a 3% fee will be withdrawn from your refund.
• Cancel before January 15th, 2014, receive a partial refund of monies paid.  Refund less a $75 cancellation fee.
• Cancel before February 22nd, 2014, receive a partial refund of monies paid.  Refund less a $150 cancellation fee. 
  
•  After February 22 – No Refunds. 

 Release/Waiver: Attendees assume all risk of property damage, personal harm, illness or injury relating to or resulting from their participating in all workshops and activities. Attendees forever release Kept Creations, LLC,  Catherine Scanlon Designs, Catania Hospitality Group, John Carver Inn & Spa, any affiliated organizations, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that they, their assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any Releasee, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not the attendee participated in the activities. Attendees also agree that they, their assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.

Registering for Mixed Media Madness confirms that the attendee has read, acknowledged and agrees to all policies and waivers listed above.
